We are now excited to offer educational and continuing ed credit courses to professionals who work with Boomers, Seniors and their families to educate them about the many resources and have a better understanding of these Minnesota Senior resources.

Course Policies

 

Attendance

 All Aboard The Savvy Senior Sources Ship

Students must attend all 15 hours to receive their CEU certificate.

 

Students must arrive on time and be present during each entire presentation to receive their CEU certificate per Minnesota rules.

                       

Partial credits cannot be issued per Minnesota rules.

Students must check in and check out whenever they come or go from the session – all sessions will be monitored according to Minnesota rules.

 

Phone calls and messages will not be allowed during course except for a family emergency. (No exceptions.)

 

All pagers, mobile phones, electronic tools (i.e. PDAs, etc) and laptop computers must be turned off during the course.

 

Tape and/or video recordings are prohibited during course.  All rights are reserved by sponsors and/or instructors.

 

Registration and Payment

 

Students must register and pay in advance.  Credit card payments will be accepted through PayPal.  Checks can be mailed to Savvy Senior Sources.  Credit payments must be received 3 business days prior to the start of the course.  Checks must be received 10 business days prior to the start of the course.  A student is not considered registered until payment is received in full.  

 

Once registration and payment has been received, a confirmation will be sent via email to the student.

 

The CEU Credit Certificate will not be issued without full payment of course tuition and, if applicable, administrative and other charges.

 

Return Check Policy

 

If a check is returned, the student is responsible for any and all bank charges, if applicable, in addition to an administrative fee of $20.00.  Student cannot attend course unless payment, bank charges and administrative funds have been paid in full and cleared prior to the date of the course.

 

For any funds not collected, the student will be billed for any and all bank charges and the administrative fee of $20.00.  In additional the cancellation and refund policy will be applicable.

 

Cancellation and Refund

 

If a student is unable to attend the full course for any reason they must contact Savvy Senior Sources within 10 business days prior to the first day of their course.  If possible we will arrange for them to reschedule for another course within 12 months of their original date.  If a course is not available within the 12 months of their original date a full refund will be issued.

 

If a student cancels less than 10 business days prior to the start of the course but a minimum of three business days prior to the start of the course, a student will receive a refund of their course less a $75 administrative fee for the late cancellation, or they may transfer to another course if one is available within a 12 month period of their original date of the course.  A qualified student can attend in their absence as a substitute with prior approval of Savvy Senior Sources.  No refund will be given if a substitute attends in their place.

 

If student cancels less than 3 business days prior to the start of the course or they are a no-show, the student will still be responsible for the entire payment.

 

To receive a refund, when applicable, all course materials must be returned prior to the issuance of a refund.  No refunds will be issued without the return of all course materials.

 

To cancel a registration for a classroom course, students must notify Savvy Senior Sources by mail, fax, or email.

 

Please note that if the student does not cancel and does not attend, they are still responsible for full payment.

 

Savvy Senior Sources may find it necessary to cancel a course.  If such a situation occurs, the student will be refunded the entire amount paid.  However, Savvy Senior Sources assumes no liability for any expenses incurred other than the course fee.
